Recently, the self-developed LD-2 aluminum alloy of Longding Aluminum has successfully completed its first vertical casting production, marking that this material has entered the industrialization stage.
During the initial trial production, the technical team precisely controlled key processes such as melting & casting and rolling to overcome technical challenges brought by high alloying. The first batch of sheet and strip products achieved the designed standards in both surface quality and internal microstructure, with performances meeting expectations. This fully demonstrates Longding Aluminum’s stable manufacturing capability in the field of high-end aluminum alloys.
Longding Aluminum stated that it will further promote the application of LD-2 aluminum alloy in downstream sectors, and support customers’ product upgrading through innovation and consistent quality.
